Good morning Marguerite. Joan and I went for a picnic yesterday afternoon and sat in the shade . Lots of teens jet skiing etc. My living room is cool so I am very lucky and I am keeping the blinds closed in the bedrooms to keep them cool. Just watered all the plants. Anne calling later then Joan and we are going out for lunch then to visit Eilish . Going to be 28 today. Very hot for us. England is usually warmer than us   I have factor 50 on. Take care x

Morning Marguerite, reached 29 when I was going to the hairdressers after lunch far too hot for me I’m afraid I did nothing when I got  back all my energy drained . It was loveky to see everyone at the hairdressers they were all pleased to see me and made me very welcome . I watched the tennis when I got back the alveraz game was good . I put ice packs on my knees to keep them cool too . Started a new book too , supposed to get hotter today and the sun is streaming through the curtains already , watch is all change when the kids break up from school . Woukd have been my wedding anniversary yesterday so I celebrated with a nice cool glass of wine last night . Hard sleeping wasn’t it but I surprised myself just lay on top of the bed and before I knew it was morning so that was a surprise . Take care Marguerite keep cool enjoy your weekend xx
