Hi Marguerite. The show was fabulous and lovely staff in the hotel. After breakfast we did some shopping then got the train back here . Ann e dropped me off at Joan's 2pm and Mary brought me home 8pm. I wanted to  clean etc for Richard and family arriving on Saturday . You will have a fabulous time. I was there one Easter and there was a huge flower procession with floats. It will do you good to get away.   Take care x

Morning Marguerite, thanks yes I managed to get everything to the tip without too much of a problem, although the traffic was at a standstill so it took me twice as long as it should have done. D is doing well and should be home tomorrow. She tripped over her laundry basket and bounced off two walls before hitting the floor! It's fortunate that Dad was with her at the time or else she'd have been lain there for hours. We visited her yesterday and she's in good spirits:-) How lovely that you're going to Amsterdam for the weekend, it's a beautiful city. Have a wonderful time. Love and hugs Xxx

Wren thank you Marguerite. The start of a new month hope our weather improves sounds like you has a better day yesterday. Was another windy day here but at least it was sunny and warm-in the conservatory  I did my Tesco shop too. Didn’t watch anymore of the teacher the language was a bit choice not my scene   Instead I watched Martin shaw as Adam Dalgleish in death in holy orders which was very good . Have a good day xx

Thank you for the chaffinch.
We had a sunny day here as well, yesterday, but the temperature only went up to 10c. The forecast for Amsterdam doesn't look too bad for the next few days. It might rain a bit on Friday, but after that it is supposed to stay dry tilll at least next Wednesday. I've started the easy PL quest. Both quests don't seem to be too bad. Of course I don't need any of the plants I'd grown in advance .. lol .. Have a great day ☀️
