It was a very hot day again. It's still 88 here at 7 pm.   Glad you & Pippin got in a dry walk.
I push-mowed the valley across the creek after work. It only took a half hour but I was SO hot when I was done! My shower felt marvelous! I didn't want to get out. 
Vacation will be peaceful at the house we rented, but the pony swim will be VERY noisy, I'm sure. And there's a carnival in town after. I think we'll have a great time. I'm excited.
Have a good sleep. I'm hoping I will after my exercise tonight.     HUGS

a sunny afternoon splash and wishing you a restful good night, Marguerite! a yellow wagtail spotted; thanks! it's 27C here, and muggy. a strange day for me. this morning I got lost in a book, and so had a late breakfast. then I was asked to pick Ellie up from summer camp early (which I did), but she wanted to go straight home. (I was told that may be a possibility.) I think part of it is that she likes one of the respite workers who works with Cece, and if she spent time with me she wouldn't see Jai. so dropped her off, and chatted a bit with my daughter, then went to have an ice cream cone by myself. came home, and decided I did have enough energy to get the sheets off the bed, and into the washing machine. tomorrow will be grocery shopping day. I hope you have your restful day tomorrow, and that the rain moves on. the kitty boys send cuddles to you, and to Pippin while I'm sending Pippin a bunch of ear rubs. take care! hugs & love. xxx

Its been a dry day here very little sunshine but warm enough x I did the grocery shop and we popped into DFS we are looking for 2 sofas saw nice grey ones think we will go back tomorrow and order them as we both like them x Then did a few inside jobs and pottered in the garden for a while later in the day x I had my grandson today when my daughter came to pick him up we ordered a Chinese couldnt be bothered cooking it was a nice change for us all x Hope you day has gone well and you got all your flower arranging done as planned x Enjoy your evening and hope you find a little time to put your feet up x Nighty night sleep well later x Will pop in again soon xx
