a quiet afternoon splash, and wishing you a peaceful good night, Marguerite. please give Pippin an extra lot of ear rubs from me, and cuddles from Dresden. it's a sad day here. Murphy fell off the couch this morning, and didn't get up for a bit so I took him to the vet. after an exam, discussion, and then a complication while trying to draw his blood, I decided the right choice for Murphy was to euthanize him. I spent time with him before they began the process, and continued to hold him until his heart stopped.  so, now it is simply Dresden and me. take care. xxx
