    It's cold here, also. 23F right now & that's as high as it will go. We're going to a retirement party tonite. Not too far, just about 6 or 7 miles.  At least there's no snow forecast.
When we bought our house, it was paid off, but one of my husband's customers didn't pay & we had to get a mortgage. Of course they talked me into getting more than I needed, so... 9 months to go. Plus some other things that will, hopefully, be paid by July. There is light at the end.
Have a good night as I doubt I'll be back today.

a quiet good morning, Marguerite, and a splash! a wriggly red caterpillar spotted; thanks! January so of course it's chilly. I think we're up to -7C right now. Dresden is curled up next to me, and sends warm snuggles to you, and to Pippin. I'm sending Pippin many relaxing ear rubs. stayed in yesterday (laundry!), but am planning on walking to church for an hour long meditation this afternoon. the friend who facilitates our Wednesday evening group is offering the hour, and another member will play her harp during part of the meditation.  wishing you a lovely day, and hope you're keeping warm and toasty. take care. xxx 🌷❤️
