Morning Marguerite, yes your right it is a big birthday . Well we had a scorcher if a day yesterday , I got my ironing done in the morning before  it got too warm then did another load of washing .  After lunch I went into the greenhouse and cleared nearly all the weed from one side it seems to come underneath from the garden outside as I’ve got pebbles down each side of the path inside which I stand my tomato pots on . I planted my sweet peas at long last to but coukdnt  stay in there much longer as it was baking so I came back to the conservatory and finished my book before the sun came round that corner . Suns just come out here looks like another lovely day. Have a great Sunday xx

a sunny evening splash and wishing you a restful good night, Marguerite! it's quite a bit cooler here at 17C, and I have windows open. the peepers have started their chorus, and the big locust trees are finally starting to leaf out. Dresden and I had a quiet day after yesterday's shopping. (although I did get a load of laundry done so I wasn't a complete slug.) he's curled up next to me waiting patiently for his supper.
