I love carols, and wrap my gifts whilst listening to them. It will be a "proper" Christmas for me, as Rachael married a Gentile, and it will be his first proper Christmas too, as his parents, didn't really celebrate. Rachael is going all out to make it a special time for him. They wanted to celebrate Friday Shabbat with me, and a Hanukkah meal, but I don't think they'll make it. It's been the second day of Hanukkah, so another light on the Menorah. As you know already, I put up a "Butterfly Tree" with lights,(Yes, I know it has nothing to do with Hanukkah, but it does look pretty). My daughter has put up a small real tree, for Darren, bless her! Rachael is so lovely as she always thinks of others. Your garland is stunning! Enjoy your Christmas Marguerite. I'm going over to my daughter's on the 24th as it's my father's birthday on the 27th, but Rachael takes me to place a stone on his grave (as she does), and as she will have a drink or two to absent loved ones, she'll bring me back before late on the 26th before she goes over to see her father.
