Birthday tortoise thanks Marguerite. Woke to frost yesterday but the rain soon started and it went wind was really bad I could see tiles coming of tie roof across the road they were having some work done on it and had it covered with a tarpailine but that came off I’m surprised the workmen left it like that I don’t suppose the can do a lot till the workmen come back today . I got my ironing done and dusted n the lounge . Had a nice easy afternoon with my book . Lit the fire last night so was cosy . Hospital this morning audiology. Have a good new week xx

Yes, I did wrap up warm for my walk yesterday. It was really cold. It is thawing now though. I can hear the snow and ice dropping from the roof every now and then. I'll be glad when all the slush will be gone now 😊 Have a great new week and enjoy your Monday 🐧

a quiet evening splash and wishing you a restful good night, Marguerite! a birthday field mouse spotted; thanks! wow! 11C sounds heavenly! it's -5C right now; I think our high today was 1. I stayed in. it was a quiet, but busy day. my little Christmas tree is put away for another year, and I managed to get most of the holiday decorations put away in the bin. I still have a few left in our front common entryway, but will finish tomorrow. Dresden is curled up in his kitty bed so sends sleepy snuggles to you, and to Pippin. I'm sending Pippin lots of ear rubs. looking forward to a cozy winter sleep tonight. take care, keep warm, and hugs! xxx 🌷❤️
