Good morning Marguerite - tyvm for spotting a pair of magpies. It is not much cooler here I am afraid. Currently 29C 🪭 Malc walked Bonnie early and she is currently recovering and snoring her little head off on the rug behind my chair. I am glad you had some respite from the heat and are dealing with indoor chores rather than outside. So many people have ignored the warnings about the heat etc. I am not venturing out unless absolutely necessary. I shall go out for my birthday meal on Saturday evening and I had lunch with a bunch of friends yesterday - very good air con at the garden centre where we ate.
