Reindeer and pink gem thanks Marguerite. Hope martins tummy soon gets better . My appointment for my pre op was cancelled yesterday the hospital rang to say it was too soon after the iron infusion they need about two to four weeks between each appointment so they can see if the infusion has worked . So they are going to send me another appointment . Disappointing but at least they let me know before I got there this time . So I am going to write my Christmas cards then get the overseas ones posted today and get some more stamps . I expect people won’t get many cards as it’s expensive to postage these days you need to take a mortgage out . Take care it’s rained here all night again but at least it remained dry yesterday though it was cold with that wind . Probably because I got the car ckeaned . Take care xx

a quiet evening splash and wishing you a good night, Marguerite! a festive mallard with pink diamond spotted; thanks! like Pippin the kitty boys are settling down to sleep. they still send snuggles, and I'm sending gentle ear rubs to Pippin. I'm wrapped up in a blanket; my home is warm enough, but it's -1C outside, and I'm tired. a good day kind of tired though. after Pat, Emma, and Zuri arrived we picked up Angel, and we headed south to meet their father for lunch. after lunch we visited the 2 cemeteries where their grandparents are buried. Pat & Emma are staying at a hotel for tonight and tomorrow. Thursday evening they will stay with me as their flight is scheduled for early morning. (I'm maybe 10 minutes from our little airport.) not sure what we're doing tomorrow as Patrick does have to work for a few hours. hoping to get a good night's sleep so I can enjoy my time with them tomorrow. I'm glad to hear you and Pippin had dry weather for your walk today. take care! xxx 🍂
