Night Yvonne, it got to 30 today, but it was really windy, so it didn’t feel as hot as it would have. The wind kept the vampires away too. Here’s hoping that wind is here tomorrow too 🤞. My sister has an Inn in Newfoundland, she had a booking for tonight, but they cancelled because winds were too high for the fairy to cross, plus snow was expected in Nova Scotia, needless to say, this heat hasn’t arrived there yet. So, I am not going to complain about the heat or the vampires, because it could be worse, lol.ive been on that fairy during a snowstorm at Christmas one year. Mom was alive then. The crossing is usually 6 hours, that day we spent 22 hours, worse crossing we ever had. Everything that wasn’t nailed down was flying through the air. It was New Year’s Eve, we were on it because I was supposed to work it, and I would have preferred working over being on that fairy, lol. That was our last crossing in the winter, and likely will be our last. Travelling across Canada in the winter is not fun, don’t recommend it 😂.
Hope you have a great weekend 🥰
