Hi Yvonne, went for a short walk today, it was -27 this morning 🥴, it did warm up though, it was -16 on our walk. Nikki had an ice beard 😂. Again, there weren’t many people walking, beautiful looking day, blue skies and sun. This weekend the deep freeze begins, -30’s expected. You do get used to the cold, there are clothes designed to keep you snuggly warm, we are well prepared, been walking in these cold winters for years. Where I grew up in Newfoundland never got these extreme temps, but we got the wind, gale force winds, I have never seen a snowstorm worse than in Newfoundland. We were stuck on the ferry one new years for 22 hours, when the captain decided to cross, the way the ship rocked was insanely scary, I’ll never forget it, we haven’t been back in the winter since. That was 29 years ago, so that’ll tell you something, ha. Last week in Newfoundland a winter storm went through with 140km winds, they are amazing to witness if you are safe in your home, not so amazing when you have to drive in it, or take the ferry 😳.

splashed-- festive white mouse and pink ty. Well the hospital visit went well. He was happy with it and I was only ther 20 mins. Came home and seen as I was early-gathered up the washing and got it down.Stayed down while it was wahing but once I got itin the dryer,came up and fed Sagwa and gathered up the garbage to take down. Almost lost me--it was so windy I had trouble getting to the dumpsters and the snow was not helpful for trying to get the walker through. Got back into the warm and just sat and waited for the clothes to be dry,I am glad I got that job out of the was because it is going to get nasty tomorrow and just to make you shiver almost minus 20 and then add in the wind chill we are all going to be frozen.After that took it easy for the rest of the afternoon.
