Hi Yvonne, yes we are happy we have Nicky, but we also really enjoyed our holiday without having a dog, first time in 40 years. Not having a dog would likely mean I’d gain a lot of weight 🤦‍♀️, especially seeing as I did not go for any walks while being on vacation, ha. Nicky before we left always favoured her Mom, which is natural, but since coming home, she is glued to me. We visit her mom everyday, and even there, she stays by my side. Our time away was the longest time I was away from her. She seems to love living here, dare I say she missed me when I was away, sure feels, that way now.
And yes, I’m really proud of Paulette, I wish you could see her work, she’s incredible. She has a lot of work from others as well, been doing it her whole life.
I’m sure you are much better than me. When I draw people, they are stick people, I’m really good at them 🤭
