I dont care for eating in fancy restaurants because usually you end up starving from the small portions, plus many times the food does not appeal to me. If I can’t pronounce it, I’ll likely not like it 🤭. Since becoming an “adult 😉”, my tastes in food has greatly improved since I was a kid. I’ll try anything once, unless the smell of it totally disgusts me, ha. Like you, I don’t care for spicy, and would prefer many items cooked plainly without fancy sauces. Especially fish and seafood, those I love on their own, fried in a bit of butter, lemon juice, or boiled as in the seafood, works perfectly for me. Brian on the other hand, is the fussiest person on the planet 🙄, he’s good with pretty much any dessert, cookie etc, but pretty much everything else, omg! He will only eat chicken and turkey, won’t eat beef, pork or fish. And he hates the smell of pork and fish, so I usually will only eat it when you can open windows, to clear the smell. It’s so frustrating. I would eat fish way more often if he liked it 😭.
