I went to an all girls school, too!  What are the odds lol  It is funny how very different everything is now.  If I write, which I don't do much as you pointed out what with tech, anyway, I write in cursive.  I've always written their birthday cards in cursive.  I guess my daughter read them lol
There are some beautiful knitted items.  I'd really like to knit some finer things but I tend to stick with wearable, washable items.  I love things that can be really enjoyed & not kept for "the right time or event" if you know what I mean.  Ok, that's me for the night xoxo
