I took my birthday cake un-opened to my sister, i dont eat much cake, & it was huge, my niece cut me off a piece to bring home & its in foil so its ok. Filled half my brown bin, & watered all my garden as no rain until august, it took ages with the watering can. keep cool love & hugs xxxxxxx

My partner messaged to say he's cancelled going to a cricket match because it's too hot.  Whatever happened to rain stopped play!!?  Reasonable temperature for Crafty Cuppa - I knitted a purple poppy for the Bransby Rescue and Welfare Centre for horses remembrance display.  A bit warm for knitting but they have to be sent to them for 31 August.  I'm sure the CRUK event will do well, it's a good charity. x
