Rylee and Jojo are from the Herding Group - so they bark - they bark a lot but I feel that I can reduce some of it. The first place I have been working with Rylee to stop his barking is at the front closet. Rylee knows that's where my shoes and coats are and although he's not sure why I need these things he know I stop there and get them and then I go OUT! He and Jojo stand and bark at me when I open the closet door. I have started making Rylee sit at the closet - and be quiet. I turn my back on him until he stops barking. This is fairly effective most of the time - with Rylee. When he's quiet I reach for my coat - sometimes I have to stop and turn my back again to wait for him to stop. Now if only Jojo would stop  Happy Monday.
