Ran errands and went to look at the river nearby. When the upstream starts to melt but the neck of the river doesn’t floods can ensue. The river level is very high but not over the banks yet. They may go in and try to break up the icejam at the mouth of the river or wait and see if our warm weather will melt it enough. Supposed to get cold again this weekend. I think we are entering the up and down temps part of the season. The plants and the humans will all be confused.

Bright sunshine and icicle sprinkles for you today. Had a lovely older gent deliver my Asda shopping
this morning and one that has been here for many a year. He had 40 minutes before next very local delivery so chatted whilst emptying the pallets of my goodies 🙂 No Tea or coffee needed but he didn't say no to a jar of Apple and red fruit jam to take home 🙂 It's nice because I often bump into people in wooded area's that cover 70% of the area here, walking, having picnics or out for a walk with their dogs and we all give each other homemade goodies via the husbands who are Asda drivers or our Posties...brilliant and how a rural community should be 🙂
