Sounds like you have been having fun. Going to see a Christmas Carol then out for Chinese with your friends must have been great. I had a group of friends like yours but it was not a book club. We called it ladies night and used to try  different restaurants but mainly it was to get away from husband and kids once a month!!!
I'm looking forward to out baking weekend this weekend. I want to try some new things and Anne wants to stick to old favourites. Have a lovely rest of the day
