Good morning Susan! 🌻 I had heard from my birder group that the hummers were back awhile ago. Last week when I was out puttering in the yard one came and buzzed me as if to say "get with the program lady!" so I got my feeders out too and they're happily drinking up! Love those little things. Did I tell you about the feeder w/ a camera in it that Gin got me for Christmas? Got it set out this spring and have been enjoying it so much! I watch my bird feeder while sitting in the dining room at mom's activities and some of the other residents have joined me in watching it. One said "i hear birds" so I told her it was my bird feeder at home and they've been hooked on watching it ever since. I got mom out of there yesterday and took her to her house for a few hours. It was a surprise to her and she appreciated it. She's gotten to where she can walk well enough now that I took a chance on getting her out. It got so hot here yesterday it was uncomfortable sleeping upstairs last night, even with the window open. Time to drag out the fans again. And yep, storms a'brewing for today.
