Morning sprinkles...I'm sure you do miss Patrick, I hope your card arrives soon. The postal service is trying to restructure post offices, we used to have Spfld as a major hub and they are now running a lot of stuff through St. Louis now and I think it is really messing with the mail. Always something. Even though you were missing him, it turned out to a good day and your new recipe turned out. Glad DeLyle is able to come tomorrow. I'm sure you will be glad to have that done. Looks like you may have a good day for the beach! Will be able to get to your happy place? We finally have enough tomatoes that we can salsa this weekend. Good morning Susan 🌻 Thanks for the Okapi.  Felt nice to sleep with a light blanket last night.  I guess it's fair to say I have a love/hate relationship with summer. I love everything about it except the extreme heat and humidity.  Flexibility is key, or so I'm learning.  Picking away at the project here.  David had his first high school (😲)  football scrimmage of the season last night!  It was the first I'd seen the kids in awhile so that was fun.  They start school Monday. We made plans for them to come over Sunday and spend some time together.  I got some nice steaks to grill and am so looking forward to having them all here.  BouViz is excited too!  Hope your day is a glorious one my friend!  Hugs and rubs  🐾💙🍀🌹

Night time sprinkles....I hope you had a good day. I know it was the anniversary of Patricks passing. I'm sure that made the day a little difficult to navigate. Did you get some of your tasks completed? How did your new recipe turn out? We had a pleasant day, got all my gardening done, and Sis got some porch time while I watered and dead headed some flowers. The temperatures were quite pleasant. I hope you are able to get to the beach tomorrow. Has DeLyle returned your call? Hope he can come soon. My foot is better. I'm still keeping it covered and using the ointment, won't hurt for a few more days. I didn't get in the office today, so tomorrow is the day. I will get in there. Hi Susan.  Lovely sunny day today - didn’t go.out in the car so not sure on the temperature. Walked to town and back with some friends for brunch. Theo was only 15 mins late coming in last night - Monty did keep calling him. Hope you get to the beach today.  We have a bank holiday this weekend so won’t be going far as to many tourists! Becki was coming down but she won’t come in the car as the roads will be like a car park and the railways have decided to do repairs on the lines so we decided she should stay home 😢.  Lots of love and hugs from across the pond 🌅xxx
