Night time sprinkles....my back continued to be creaky all day. Just couldn't find a comfortable position. I tried to do some things but my back would start screaming. So very unproductive day. It sounded like you were gonna have a putter day, just taking care of things around the house. Did you get any pond time? We will be having pork chops with stuffing and fried potatoes, and beans and wieners on Sunday. The okra is getting big, I don't see any flowers or any signs of okra yet, I imagine they have lots of growing to do yet. Ed didn't come home tonight, he will be home early in the morning. He had to work over and just wasn't up to the drive home tonight. That was so sad to hear that news about the person jumping from the bridge. At least they were able to recover the body for the family. Will be heading to bed in a bit, looks like we are in for a bumpy ride tonight. Storms moving in. Will meet you in Dreamland later...sending lots of prayers, love, hugs and kisses!

THE NEGLECTED FAIRY

Oh why do I sigh,
And moan, and cry
About how very much
Time goes by
When I don't pay attention
To my inner fay,
(I really don't want her
To fly away!)
So instead let me sit
And write some lines,
Hoping to get a poem
That really shines,
`Cause the fairy within me
Needs time for fun
Lest she get cranky
And come undone.
If I do a good job,
She'll soar to new heights
When I dust out the cobwebs
And turn on the lights;
Together we'll go
To a magical place
That will put a sweet grin
On her tiny face.
She will flutter her wings,
Sing some sparkling songs
In a place filled with magic,
Where she truly belongs!

Hare thanks Susan . Hot again today went to a large garden centre with my neighbour this morning but it was very hot there too.  I’ve not done anything since I got home.  Boys laying out flat and I have a fan going.  I ordered some cool mats for them which were supposed to be here by now but ??? They say next Monday now.  Will go out and water the garden in a bit once the sun has cooled down.  I’m getting used to my chair now - I’ve sat in it a lot the past week 🤣.  Hope you get your pruning done.  Love and hugs from across the pond 🌅xxx
