Good morning Susan 💙 Your boiled dinner and especially the cornbread sounds so good!  Yes, comfort food!    My houseplants managed to survive the first frost mostly unscathed. Only the Boston Fern had a couple fronds turn black but otherwise all good!  They're all under a large patio umbrella next to the house so I think that protected them. Last night I covered them with little blankies but I don't think it frosted.   Record high temperatures predicted for Tuesday and Wednesday - near 80!  Sounds good to me.  Scheduling today for the demolition people to come in and give us their quote. Continuing to plug away at all the little projects around here.   Have a super-spectacular day!  Love and hugs 🐾☕🍀❣

Night time sprinkles....not feeling so great tonight...think I'm coming down with what Ed has. Mine is sore throat and drainage mostly...I think more sinus, head ache too. Heading to bed soon. Ed still isn't feeling the best....he wont stay home from work. He has to go to job site that may be a permanent placement for a while so he is going to see what the plan is. I'm not surprised Amanda had her shadow with her. Poor girl. What a mess. I hope she gets all her ducks in a row and lays it all out for him and tell him he has no options....this is the way the hog is gonna eat the cabbage as my granny always used to say. Oh good Kathy is still coming....its been so long...hopefully Lita will be on her best behavior. How was dinner? I hope it was another comfortable evening no heavy topics discussed I hope.
