Good morning Susan 🌻 Mama eventually ended up sitting back on her eggs. I did some trimming of branches yesterday so I used some of the branches w/ big leaves to camouflage and protect her a bit, then put a large live trap in front of the nest. The trap was sprung this morning but it evidently scared the culprit off because her little camo screen was not disturbed. Yay! I have no idea if those eggs are viable or not, but as long as she wants to sit there I'll do what I can to help her. Rainy afternoon but I had a day off from mom and got quite a bit done around here. Felt good to get some of my own projects accomplished, and to just sit on my patio watching the birds and enjoying my little slice of peace. Sending our best - 🐾🍀💜☕
