Early afternoon sprinkles....just now finishing up here in the gardens. I didn't sleep well, coughing kind of kept me from getting a good rest. Slept in a bit and then the kids wanted a big breakfast, so once it was done and got the kitchen cleaned up I was able to do my normal morning stuff. Will shower as soon as I'm done to get ready for dinner out tonight. They are out for a walk so they will want to shower when they get back. It is going fairly well but Ed and I are both ready for them to go. Nothing bad but they just live different lifestyles than we do. Ed started his cold earlier in the week and my symptoms just started yesterday, so we taking cold medication to try and ward off anything really bad. It sounds like you had quite a trek to the gas pig. I'm glad you didn't get hurt trying to get out there. I'm sorry you are hurting a bit tonight from your fall and the crawl. Ed's birthday is the 8th. The will leave around noon tomorrow, they will have to return the car to the rental and be there 2 hours early for the flight. So just get through the day, breakfast in the morning and then they will be on their way. Ed and I will be able to regroup and get some of our normal weekend things done. We will have leftovers so we won't have to much cooking to do. Thank goodness. I have done enough over the last few days. They have offered to help but too many people in the kitchen is never a good thing. We will be fine to go to dinner we will push through it. Yes one more night....and relax I will after they are gone. I hope you have a good day, and if you go outside please take your walking stick and phone and be careful. Sending love, hugs and kisses!

Night time sprinkles....my eyes are getting so heavy. I need some sleep. I didn't sleep well last night. The kids went to Sprfld to see some of the Lincoln sites but we stayed behind. Ed got a nap but I did not. Things are going ok. Just visiting and eating....that's about it. We had a lovely dinner, a nice roast, mashed potatoes, gravy and green beans. They really enjoyed dinner. I'm glad. Sadye is still doing well. No barking at all anymore. She is stuck to Ed like glue.I'm glad you got a good nights sleep last night. Has Cody stayed away today? I sure hope so. Did you get out to the pig today? How is the melting coming along? I hope it's melting and you are able to get the car out soon. Yes I went out to Kathy's for bath night, then they come later, as Kathy wanted to meet Jeremy and see Monica. So no big plans tomorrow. Just dinner tomorrow night. They will be leaving here Saturday around noon, I'm sure a nap will be needed by then. Ed has come down with a cold and isn't feeling the best. I'm starting to get that little tickle in my throat.
