Good morning Susan 🌻 sad news on the duck front - long story but the short version is something (I think coyote) got one of the babies and mama - I'm devastated and heartbroken once agan. I didn't expect the remaining 7 to survive last night - I tried to catch them but only managed to terrify them. But lo and behold around 9 this morning they appeared for food and water. Gonna see if Gin and the kids can help me catch them so we can try to keep them safe. My poor old heart can't take much more So very sad to lose our sweet mama duck 😭
