Hi Dianne, sorry to hear about your headache. I hate having one. Luckily, I don't get them very often.
We do have a couple of Dairy Queens. Neither have much for food, no inside service, and close in the winter. The one close to me has tried to stay open on the weekends the past two years. It depends on whether they can keep workers. Not many people will stand outside and wait for a blizzard when it's below 0. ⛄ ❄
Mayo is supposed to be the best. They have two hospitals here. They have numerous buildings and are in the process of building another now. Not to mention the parking ramps. I am lucky as far as my Dr. My other one had retired, and I requested a primary. My Dr. had just finished her residency and was picked to stay at Mayo. I have had her for over 15 years. That is one thing that makes people unhappy. Unless a DR. is taking new patients, they end up seeing residents, and they come and go. They are so big that you have to plan hours for a visit if it requires more than just seeing the DR. I won't even go into the parking headaches. I had my daughter take me last time. 10 minute blood draw. Then, 3 hours later, see DR. and had to plan over five hours total for a simple yearly medicare check up. That's just a few complaints that people have now. They have become so large that it is an all day proccess.
I'm glad I have them, and my Dr. is very receptive, but it's such a pain to go there. She bugs me to death if I don't get in there when I should! I can't skip anything! 🤣
Have a good night and no more headaches!
