I'm a bit concerned about the tree are you sure its not going over run the house while you sleep! For something that was almost given up for dead it seems like a call to the trimmers might be on the cards in a month or so.

I lost a bit of your message I have a feeling the woman driver had to do a sobriety test??  When I watch the Police Interceptors programme people seem to run because of drink, no licence or no insurance or all 3. I was watching last week and they brought a car to a stop in a box manoeuvre and pulled the driver out. He was 15 and said 'I was just going for a drive!!!!!' OMG and we wonder why there are so many accidents. Sheila was telling me today that Anna's partner, the twins dad, had parked his car where he works and a delivery driver smashed in to the front of it causing thousands of pounds of damage and just drove off. I hope he knows who it was but no doubt the guy will deny it. I said the truck which hit his Mercedes must have some damage I expect I'll hear more about it when I see her next week. A few years back I had that happen to me when I returned to my parked car and found a huge dent in the side, there's not much you can do when no one owns up to it.

Hi Janet, it's been dry, windy and feeling like 53! I'm hoping they're right and it'll be warmer by the end of the week.

I met Ness at the hall and pleased Pat, the church warden, with some chocolate biscuits for her Saturday raffle. Although there are about 45 or so puzzles for sale there were no new ones so my heap is no bigger. I did finish the tractor puzzle and need to break it up. I may take it to Sam as Henry will love the picture but it is 1000 pieces so she'll need to do most of it.

I stopped off on the way home to get the local paper as I missed getting it yesterday. I also bought some beef mince to make bolognaise with tomorrow.
