I'm sure you're right about the pool, before she and Stewart divorced my sister in law had one in her back garden. It was an endless round of chemicals and removal of leaves and the odd hedgehog that fell in it and she had a 'vacuum cleaner' which roamed around the bottom all day long. What with the heating bill and things like leaks I wouldn't have wanted it, too much trouble.

When I left Sheila's after lunch it was drizzling so rather than go shopping I went to see auntie. She's still suffering with the bad allergy  problem and has seen the doctor again who's given her more strong antihistamines but they don't seem to be working. I suggested she might go back and tell him. She doesn't like to but all she does is scratch at herself which can't be good. Her granddaughter is getting married a week on Wednesday and she doesn't want to be like this then.

In answer to your question batteries vary in price but I like to have a 'heavy duty' one which are more expensive as I do a lot of short journeys and it was approx $225

Hi Janet, it stared well with lots of sunshine but by the time I'd left the hall the clouds had rolled in.  I had a cup of tea with Ness and they had a raffle this week. There was a flower festival going on in the church down the road and the raffle was an attempt to make more money for their funds. Both Ness and I had tickets, she won some hand cream, a candle and some sweets. She gave the candle to one of the ladies at the hall and the hand cream to me. I won a bottle of wine, a cookery book, a small wooden frog  and an 'odd' necklace. I gave the wine to Ness and will give the cookery book to Sam, the wooden frog and necklace will go to the library for their Christmas raffle. I'm sure that's how these places get most of their prizes. lol
