I'm wondering if the gardener will come tomorrow. I tried phoning him without any luck so it's a case of wait and see. This week will be 4 weeks since he came but the forecast is not great and as I've said before he doesn't do rain.

I went to the store and managed to get the small carpet steamer, now I have to read the instructions, perhaps tomorrow! I started a new puzzle which is a much better use of my time. It's another snowy one called Village Square, I think it will take a while to do.

Thanks for letting me know the ending of your message, poor step dad could have died, t makes you wonder at the state of both our health services.

Hi Janet, after the snow then all the rain of yesterday today it's got much milder, nearly 60 but the wind has been horrendous I could hardly stand up in it and tonight there's going to be more rain. The newspapers that didn't arrive yesterday came with todays first thing this morning, I felt sorry for the poor girl who struggled to carry them all.

I changed the bed and got the laundry done, but I didn't hang it out or it would have been blown away so it went through the drier.

I've written the Christmas cards for my cousin Christine and her family as I need to deliver them to her this week. I would normally post them all but our postage has gone up so much I intend to hand deliver many of the 70 I write. Each one is $1:20 to post which is crazy as I can buy a whole pack of 10 cards for that.
