What kind of bird do you have, when I had an injured pigeon he was in the shade on top of my covered water tub and I fed him seed and a little tray of water for 3 days until he got better. Mine had a bad leg which gradually improved until he could put his foot down then he flew away. If it's a broken wing there's nothing you can do, I hate to say it if he can't fly he's most likely had it.

When I'd finished there I did the shopping, finally got the milk but it was too late to take the stuff to the charity shop as they close early. I wouldn't be surprised if the shop will be closed tomorrow. They are volunteers, all elderly and the forecast for here is 85 and they're telling us to stay indoors and close windows, curtains and blinds. Like I said yesterday we don't do really warm weather. They were saying on the news that many hospitals were having trouble because equipment like MRI scanners were breaking down in the heat. Hundreds of schools are closed and people are dying by jumping in to cold water pools, rivers etc. Needless to say tomorrow I'm staying home and will be having a close relationship with my fan and my puzzle!

Hi Janet, it's been a bit more comfortable today 71 with a slight breeze. I went to the dentist to have my teeth cleaned. OMG what a performance, it's the first time any one has used a sonic thing that sprouts water and the first time anyone went round all my teeth front and back with a pointed tool calling out numbers., not one for each tooth but 2 or 3 and apparently 3 or below was good and higher bad. Oops several of mine were higher. I now have little brushes to brush between each tooth every day OMG it's going to take ages. I already clean my teeth 2 or 3 times a day now this, I'm sure they are on a hard sell for mini brushes. LOL O yes, she wants to see me again in 3 months time. This first appointment was a double one and cost just over $200 and the next one will be just over $100, that's $300 in 3 months plus $20 the price of the little brushes, sounds like a licence to print money. I'll go for the next one but not again for a year at the earliest.
