I wish you hadn't said that thing about having time, you do realise in a months time we'll be at Christmas/Boxing day. I did go through the box of cards and sorted out some to take to Sue, the nun. I take any that I don't think I'll use this year and if she doesn't like the picture she'll cut one from another card and stick it on. That's nuns for you, very frugal.

I'm supposed to be seeing Sam and Tessa tomorrow. They'll be setting up for the wreath making classes which start on Friday. I think I'll go but not stay too long. I have some bits that I need to take and Sam has been sorting out presents for Henry and Austin, which will be a relief. I had no idea what to get them. As for Adam and Josh I'm hoping Tessa will come up with some brilliant ideas. Gwen phoned this morning and said she was ordering a special diamond type nail file and would I like one as it was an offer. I would, but I realised it will make a lovely gift for my aunt so I asked if she'd mind getting them and that will be one more present sorted. I think they work out at about $20 each so I hope they're good. lol

Hi Janet, the man came early to sort out the leak. He sealed everywhere he could think of and said to give him a call if there was still a problem. I will add there was no charge, he even adjusted the front door as he didn't think it was closing as smoothly as it should. I must admit it's much better.

I'm on the mend but still not sleeping well as the cough keeps waking me up.  Daryn had a day off and came home this morning while the man was doing the door. I took his soggy parcel round, he was really pleased. He enquired how I was and said his lady friend works with a health department that deals with notifiable diseases, apparently there's a lot of this sinus and chest thing about. He was concerned I might have covid, but told him I've tested 3 times and it's been negative every time. He went out and had been gone all of 5 minutes and the postman knocked on my door and asked if I'd take a parcel in for him, I don't know what he's buying but at least with the royal mail man in charge it didn't get wet!
