They stayed about 3 hours which was fine with me and I finally went out about 7 this evening. It was lovely in the store almost empty. I got the milk I needed and a fresh cream sponge as Lorraine will be coming tomorrow and possibly my cousin David, who always comes the night before my birthday, I'm sure they'll enjoy it, I know I will. LOL

The puzzle is coming along, I may get some more done tomorrow.

Alan is married, he's never mentioned if his wife works but they seem to have a good life with lots of holidays and days out. He once mentioned a grown up son, I would think Alan must be in his late 50s early 60's, not the age to go throwing yourself on the floor!

It sounds like you definitely need an Alan or someone like him, you cut one limb off the Lantana and it grows 2 more....no Alan wouldn't do it sounds like hard work, mind you he'd be great with his hedge trimmer cutting things off. lol

Hi Janet, its been another pleasant day 71 with 83% humidity and a light breeze. It's the breeze that makes it comfortable, I'm so lucky to live so close to the sea.

I was going out when I had a phone call from my cousin Christine asking if they could come round. She was thinking it was my birthday Wednesday and I had to tell her she's the one person who should remember when I was born because I was born in her bed! Back then home births were the norm and her parents lived about a 10 minute walk from mine, so when I decided to make an appearance my poor mother had to walk there and Christine had to get out of her bed so my mum could get in and have me. Fortunately it was about half 8 in the morning so it could have been worse! Her parents were my god parents and when I was 10 and my mum had a serious operation and was in hospital for weeks I stayed with them and we've always been very close.

Woohoo, this has also completed the task set by the Nesting Waxwing in your garden, and she has laid her egg!
