Peeking in - Yes Channie is sure having a wonderful trip and her photos and descriptions are fabulous. I have a friend who has just been touring for a few weeks and she just plonks her photos on FB with hardly any description at all which I find a bit dull as it just becomes a photo of a building or beach somewhere in the world. Maybe I am supposed to guess LOL x

I've been in the garden this evening with my watering can everything is so dry and the bird baths were empty. I gave them a good scrub and refilled them but I expect they'll need doing again during the morning.

I'm thinking of having an early night, I might not have a Randy to wake me in the mornings but I'm a very restless sleeper and try and get 7 hours at least once a week.

Tomorrow I'm going to have a weed of the back garden, Alan does do some but seems to remove just the ones at the front of the borders I like to get them all. I'll leave all the dead heading for him to do next time he comes and he can also do the edges of the grass and cut the 'stuff' that grows up under the trees. I need to remind him again that he's going to replace the shed roofing felt with some corrugated roofing material. If I keep on about it he may eventually do it.

Hi Janet, it's been much better today we've had a nice sea breeze which makes it feel so much cooler. It's 70 but feels more like 65. That probably sounds cold to you but it's so comfortable I'm wandering about in a T shirt and am warm enough.

The sat nav seems to be working OK fortunately I'll have more chances to try it before I go to Maggie's as she's due to come here at the end of the week. Most people have one integral to the car but mine came in a box and sits on the seat beside me! When I see other peoples in their cars with huge screens I'm pleased mine is so small, I couldn't have something like that distracting me.

I missed the hall as Ness was working but did go to Sheila's and we had the company of the twins, they are growing so much each week.
