We had 4 inches over the weekend. Enough but could have been worse. Foggy and cold here this morning

I saw a fascinating thing on the laptop today, it was about the difference between our supermarkets and yours. The first thing they mentioned was milk that you buy in by the gallon and here you can buy a pint, 2,4 or 6 pints but never a gallon. That your bread is sweet with sugar or corn syrup in it, ours is just flour, yeast, salt and water. You also have check out baggers, I wish! It also said you could buy a shotgun, hell I'd get arrested, or furniture. Ours really are for food, flowers, magazines and newspapers and they sometimes have concessions for shoe repairs, a pharmacy or a foreign currency booth. 

I'm watching a programme called Discovering British Masterpieces, where they find an unidentified picture on a website called Art UK and from 200,000 paintings on line see if they can identify it and it's artist. Last week and the week before they discovered a couple of expensive masterpieces, this week's picture looks like it was painted very badly by me. LOL

Hi Janet, it's been another chilly day, still the sun was out even if it didn't get above 50f.
I smiled when I read about the waffle maker, they made things to last in those days. My mum had one but I have no idea what happened to it. I think when my Dad remarried my brother bought our childhood home but when he married  after a coupe of years they moved and I think everything my sister in law didn't want she threw out. Including many things from my childhood my mum had put away and I'd like to have kept. Never mind one can't undo the past.

Pippa was only 10 minutes early which is good for her. I then went and did some shopping. Like you I worked on the puzzle but still haven't found the 2 missing edge pieces. It was laying here and Pippa wanted to stop and do some of it.

It just rains and rains.....What are those beautiful pink flowers Janet?
