I phoned Sheila to see if she's still free of covid. I said if she was OK I'd go tomorrow but she said she'd be happier if I gave it a miss this week however she does want me to get her a couple of things from the store so I'll see Ness at the hall and call by Sheila's with her shopping. I needed to go there anyway as it's her birthday Monday and I have a card to deliver. I'll take everything and put it on her porch. She says her son is gong to work even if he's still positive, no wonder it spreads so quickly. He works at Birdseye in their frozen food factory as an engineer but he's working around a lot of people, I wonder if he'll tell them.

I tipped all the puzzle pieces on my board and started to remove the edges, I've left it there knowing now it's out I'll work on it tomorrow for a while, probably a long while. LOLOL

Hi Janet, I had a lovely lunch with Hilda and Judith, I had Halibut and it was really good with a cheese and prawn sauce, certainly not something I'd cook at home.  Afterwards I took Hilda home and stayed for a cuppa and more chat and by the time I got home it was almost half past 5. Now that's what I call a good lunch out!

It's been 65 today but without the wind of yesterday it felt warmer, unfortunately this afternoon we had a thunderstorm and another this evening. Fortunately I didn't get wet and as far as I can see Paul must have emptied his water container as there was no new waterfall from his gutter.

I've had another poorly pigeon in the garden, he was all fluffed up and sitting on the ground a sure sign he's very unwell in fact I'm expecting to find a body in the morning. What I want to know is why they come here and not go and be ill in someone else's garden.
