I should get a phone call from Eden tomorrow about the hip to ask if I'm ready to go ahead. I can't believe it's calmed down a bit but I'm thinking that might be psychological so I'll ask to see her to go for more x rays then I can go on to see the surgeon. It could be 2 years before they operate as our doctors are striking so often that I'd best get on the waiting list.

Good luck to Tyler, I know how ill Sam was when she had chemo. She got so she couldn't bear heat or cold. Having a shower was a nightmare because once she stepped out of the water she just shook. Tessa and Jordan would wait with towels to dry her off. She also lost the feeling in her hands. Fortunately that came back as she got better, but the doctors weren't sure at the time how it would turn out. I also worked with a girl who had chemo for breast cancer and she worked all the way through except for the days she had her treatment, I guess it depends what cancer you are treated for.

Your easy quest is obviously different to mine, no Magpies involved! I'm still looking for a camel and a ram, I might go hunting later, not that I get too worried about it!!

Hi Janet, now this is more normal hour! I really must stop burning tha candle at both ends.

I've not been out today, well only in to the garden. I've done the laundry and hung it out on the line to dry. It's been 53, sunny and very windy, a great day for getting it dry. It's now all done and away which is just as well as I can see very dark grey clouds heading this way and the weather App reckons it will be raining anytime soon.

I've vacuumed through and cooked haddock for lunch. I like fish but not how it makes the place smell afterwards.  Still I've had the windows open for the first time this year to let the air through and freshen the place up.
