I finished the puzzle and packed it up to take to the hall tomorrow. There was a piece missing which was a shame but I'll tell Pat at the hall and mark the box so if someone buys it they'll know.

I did a little shopping on my way home but will need to get some bird food and a few bits for me tomorrow after I see Sheila.

I should be in bed before 12 as I need to get ready early for the hall in the morning, I have 10 minutes. lol

Maybe you should get Randy a dog for a toy [not a real one!] then he may not be so keen to 'kill' it.

Hi Janet, it's been a better day, no rain 73 with 83% humidity. I phoned Andrew this morning and he told me to call again this afternoon as he was having problems with the lock. When I called at 3 this afternoon his wife was in the office and said unfortunately the lock was done but the battery was dead. Andrew recharged it but felt I'd need a new one. Fortunately they have a delivery service for batteries and it was delivered and fitted by 10 past 3. I phoned Sue and Ian, as he'd said he'd take me down to collect it, but Sue's son phoned to say he and his family were on the train and due in to the station in the next 10 minutes. I told her not to bother about me and go and collect him. I phoned for a taxi and they said it would be another 30 minutes before he'd get to me. I called the garage to ask what time they'd close on a Friday but they said they'd stay open until I got there. Fortunately the cab was quicker than anticipated and I was there before 4. Tell Don it was exactly $600 for the lock, battery and fitting expenses.

LAY watered the Sunflower, and spotted a Hedgehog feeding on the Veggies!
