A waxwing ty

spotted a Field Mouse feeding on the Tropical Fruits!

Since there was no Alan I managed to go out a bit earlier to get a few things from the store. I stopped to have a chat with someone I knew and promptly forgot the milk. I do have some but it will be out of date in 3 days I'll need to get some more soon.

I've done a bit more to the puzzle, it's coming along nicely. It's surprisingly difficult which I'm enjoying. Thanks again, hugs   xxx

In the news today they were saying that 2700 people have died in the last 2 months because of the heat and like you have we have wildfires in several places. If this is going to be the norm we're going to have to change the way we live, like having air conditioners in our houses. Not many people even have ceiling fans, they've not been needed in the past.

Like Nick I have a gas weed burner but have to admit I've only used it once. The weeds were gone but I smelt like a bonfire, it put me off doing it again. 

I spoke with Kath, Daryn's 'friend', I'd taken in a parcel for her and gave Ted her dog a treat so we're now the best of friends. She's a nice woman, I still don't know why they don't just live together. They've been next door for almost 3 weeks, it used to be a week here and a week at hers, maybe it will be a month here and a month at hers, watch this space.
