I'd best start getting ready for bed and I must remember to set my alarm or Dawn will be breakfasting alone!

I'm in Randy's camp, I don't do hot weather and how you survive 90 I have no idea. I must find something cool to wear tomorrow as it's gong to be hotter than today.

All I do know is I'm exhausted and I need another early night as I'm up early tomorrow to have breakfast with Dawn. I spoke with her today and I think the little guy is going home tomorrow, well that is if the gardener is back from his holiday and she won't know until the morning. I did tell him he was on borrowed time with me and tomorrow when I feed him first thing I'll give him a little bath so he goes home all sparkling, well cleaner than when he came!

I see you've been a busy little bee too, let's face it a woman's work is never done. I hope you got the rocker nicely set up, I wish I had one but my bungalow is too small to accommodate any more furniture! When Bill died he had a nice nearly new riser recliner chair which his family didn't want and which is now residing in my lounge. With the hip it's been great and I often thank him for it. lol

Hi Janet, yes I did the street sale on the hottest day of the year 78, to much for me. I don't think I'll do another. I was up early and got everything ready by 9 o'clock although it wasn't starting until 10. Before it got started I went down the walkway to see how many more there were and if I'm honest to see if anyone had anything worth buying! There was nothing about so I came back made a cuppa and brought a dining chair through so I could sit in my lobby out of the sun and still see everything that was happening. All I can say is there was not a lot. There were people but no one was buying much. I sold about a dozen puzzles, a little phone pouch, a couple of paper backs but not much else. I suppose I made about $40, not really worth all the time and effort I put in. Afterwards it seemed to take ages to put the things I didn't sell back or in a couple of boxes for the charity shop. I saved the HOP puzzles and may sell them to John an old school friend who occasionally asks if I have any. He does the car boot sales on Sundays and has the customers for them.
