Spotted a gecko, thanks!

When I was out feeding the birds this morning I looked across at D's conservatory. I think I told you that he has a plant growing on the roof and when I told him he said he'd recently cleared it. Well the plant is now at least 6 inches high and the same across. He'll not see it unless he goes to the bottom of his garden and I'm not telling him again and get my head bitten off. MEN!

I think Mr rat had kicked the bucket. The poison I put out 3 days ago is untouched. I'll leave it there and keep an eye on it and replace it if it disappears.

I like that Don bought red grapefruit, it's a good job he's not living with me or he'd be eating them himself, I'm not a fan. lol

Hi Janet, the cold is finally easing although it's upset my sinus's again and I have a nasty cough. I spent a couple of hours this morning with the puzzle then did 8 Christmas gifts before I lost the will to go on. lol

I did some shopping and made a few phone calls. I was appalled to get my house insurance it had gone up from.$290 to almost $750. When I phoned the company she said that they'd had to pay out on more claims this year and I pointed out I haven't made a claim in over 20 years, it's crazy. I've been going through a comparison website and can find it for $150 how can they even think I'd pay so much. Last year I was with the same company for my car insurance and they tried the same thing then I'm now with a different company for that.  It took me hours to get it sorted and it's like they are penalising older people who tend to just renew.
