I started a new small puzzle, called Tight Corner'. It wouldn't mean much to you but it's a coach driving through a village on a very narrow road. It reminds me of when I go to see Maggie or Tessa, I really don't want to meet a coach or lorry on some of the small roads out where both of them live. I've just realized I didn't send the pic of the last one I'll do that before I go to bed.

I thought about Nick and his 100 yards, I suppose it's about a 100 steps and a bit!   

Tomorrow I want to be up and do my shopping before Alan comes, about 11. The gas man will be here after 12 o'clock to sort out the conduit on the boiler clock wires and hopefully give me a lesson in how to reduce the temperature of my hot water. I read the instructions but when I try to do it it goes back to how they left it when the boiler was fitted, which is too hot.

Hi Janet, I don't think it made 70 here today although it was very still and without the wind it always feels warmer. It was dry first thing although there were a lot of grey clouds. I cut the grass as Alan should be here in the morning and he'll do the edges with his strimmer. I'm glad I did as we had rain later this afternoon. I phoned Alan yesterday and asked him to bring a small ladder or some steps to check Paul's gutter. I think it's full of rubbish and that's why it overflows down the wall between us. As he doesn't come out much and certainly not when it's raining he's never going to notice it until the dampness seeps indoors.

I cleaned the floors and deep cleaned the bathroom, I don't know why I bothered so much with the floors as Alan and the gas man will be wandering all over them in their outdoor shoes. I don't mind so much if it's dry but men don't seem to notice how mucky they can make a floor.
