I've got a weed burner which I use around the edges of the pavement and along the paths. It has a small gas canister for fuel and is most efficient. The down side is every time I use it I need to have a shower, wash my hair and all my clothes as they smell of smoke.

I'm expecting a necklace in the post tomorrow, it's for auntie's birthday on the 1st April. I just hope I'm pleased with it when it comes. It looks like a diamond on a silver chain, of cause it's not it's zircon crystal, if I don't think she'll like it I may keep it for myself and try and think of something else she might like. I know her sons are buying her a new gold watch as she can't see the hands on the one she has now because they're too small.  One thing I do know is she likes her bling so fingers crossed the necklace will be OK.

I keep reading that we should stock up on things due to the oil situation. I may get some toilet rolls and tea bags I don't want to run out of those. Mind you I think they're talking about canned foods but since I rarely use any other than baked beans I might get a couple cans, I don't do panic buying.

I took Sue back to the convent and she wanted to stop to buy a fresh cream cake. I didn't disagree and we got a vanilla sponge and had tea and the sponge when we got back to hers. The other Sister who lives there called Sheila [I know 3 of them, Sheila's I mean, not nuns] thought we'd stolen it from the wake. She was pleased to know that wasn't case and we'd bought it from the supermarket. LOL

Hi Janet, it's been a mild day 50ish dry and very little wind. They reckon by Wednesday it could get to the mid 50's, fingers crossed.

I saw you'd found a Walrus so I've changed the colours of the flowers and they should attract my first Seal.

I took Sue to the funeral which was very traditional, so many have pop music and celebrants rather than a ordained 'person'. Today there was a lady vicar. I'm not too bothered about what they do with me once I've passed. Sue says I should at least choose some music, I'll think about it!
