I've just read your post, the question is how do you loose a dog as big as him? I bet you were scared half to death, I know I would have been. It's just ridiculous when you know he has to be there but then you imagine someone has slipped in and stolen him. You'll forgive all those dismembered toys for ages now.

That seems an awful lot of money to get the house painted. Fortunately as ours are mostly brick and the windows double glazed plastic it's not something I have to worry about, mind you they don't last forever, hence the new roof on the conservatory last year and the new front window and door the year before. I know everything has gone up but $5000 seems to be very expensive.

Hi Janet, I've been stuck indoors all day as the weather's been rubbish. Carole came just after lunch and I had to dry her coat as she got soaked just getting from the car into miine.

I'd liked to say I'd done loads of things and I did start quite well by cleaning the bathroom then I got in to the puzzle and that was it. I suspect I get them done because so quickly as I have no distractions like a husband or dog!! I also have to admit I've sorted the one Maggie brought with her and have done the edge. It was at that point I decided enough was enough and sorted a few things out to take to Sue at the convent in a couple of weeks. I have a tin of chocolates left over from Christmas and a couple of other things I think she'll like.

I finally remembered to send the pictures so I hope you've got them.
