Yes the school is open, it's a special one for problem children. There's almost as many teachers as pupils. When it was built there were a lot of people who didn't want it near them. They brought a petition for me to sign to say I was against it. I told them I had no problem as the children would be supervised more stringently than 'normal' school kids and I couldn't see them making any trouble. I was right, to the best of my knowledge it's been fine. I must make the effort to go and look at the sand, I'm intrigued by what they will do with it. I'll have to keep my eyes open to see if anyone comes to use it.

I'm watching the Traffic Cops catching American speeders, at the moment the Clifton police are in New Jersey on Route 21. They've just stopped a chap for no licence plate and 3 cars on the far side going the other way have crashed in to each other trying to see what they were doing. Oops.

Hi Janet, I went to see Auntie as it was her 91st birthday. I stayed most of the morning making teas and coffees for several of her friends who stopped by. If I'm able to make it to my 91st birthday I hope I'm as smart and with it as she is and also have so many friends.

I also went to the library to return my book and Hilary, the librarian, recommended a new one that had yet to be borrowed. I've brought it home but am not sure if It's really to my taste. Never mind I'll give it a try, it can always go back if I don't like it.

I've been working on the puzzle but think there may be a piece or two missing, that's the problem with doing them from the charity shop or church hall I take a chance they'll be complete.
