I had a message from Bill's son this morning. It would have been Bill's birthday this week and last year Michael, Carol and her mum came round to mine on his birthday and had cake. He asked if we could do it again and I was so pleased they wanted to. I've invited them round on Friday as I'm seeing Sue, the nun, Thursday. This week is getting full up. I'll have a day of rest tomorrow, well after the phone calls. lol

D's lady friend is still here although they were out most of the day. he did say he was fitting her kitchen so maybe that's where they went.

I'll have to look up what my satellite costs but I think it's about $25 a month [$300 a year], the other $240 licence I told you about is what we pay the government for what they call free view, which is a joke. OMG that's $540 a year and if I had the sports channels it would cost a lot more. I spoke with my friend Sheila and she gave me the name of a man who fixed her aerial and she was impressed by him so I'll call him in the morning too. I tell myself if I can get all these irritating things done then I won't have anything left to worry about. The trouble is it never seems to work like that.

Hi Janet, it's been even warmer again today about 71 something to do with  storm Erin bringing warmth before the rain. I'm hoping it stays away until my seals are done on Wednesday.

I phoned the gas board this morning hoping they may have cover even though it's a bank holiday. All I got was an AI machine that would make me an appointment to fix the leak tomorrow afternoon if I pay the bill they sent me last time. 2 people have told me that the bill was sent incorrectly and has been cancelled, well guess what, they lied. I'll try again in the morning and hopefully will get a real person to speak to. I find it all so annoying to pay so much for a new boiler and still get problems.

I did go out to get some milk and a few bits from the supermarket. I know I forgot a couple of things but I'm going to the library in the morning so will drop by and get them on my way home.
