Daryn was parking his car when I pulled up next to him this afternoon. He'd been to work but said it was very quiet in the town. We've had so many shops close and move to the out of town retail parks it's hardly worth going in. I tend to go there when I need my eyes tested or if I need to go to the bank, which is very rare. It's a shame to see so many closed and boarded up shops. I suppose on line shopping has also had an effect.

Tomorrow I'm going to see Karen again, this time she's having all the cousins come for the evening. I suspect there'll be food, a lot of food and games. If you don't hear from me you'll know why. LOL

Hi Janet, it's still very cool feeling about 36, which is a bit better than it has been. I was up too late to see if it was frosty but the birds water wasn't frozen so maybe we were frost free.

I did try to get the wild bird food from my usual store, no chance I couldn't even find a parking space so I drove up the road and went round a smaller store. They had no bird food but had reduced a lot of Christmas stuff so I got some Florentines and some white chocolate for auntie and some more sweets and dog toys for Tessa, Sam and their families.

I've wrapped up 26 small gifts for 'the game' tomorrow and will do the rest for the 1st in a couple of days.

I did a little of the puzzle and am missing an edge piece, I hope it's there somewhere, not that I can do much about it.
