Have you had any luck with the vet yet, makes you wonder if they're still practising. Our vets here are always busy in fact a new one opened only about a month ago. Gwen told me that the one she uses for her dog is not taking any more patients at the moment. Trying to see one is almost as difficult as us trying to see a doctor which is almost impossible. I had a letter today from the hospital to say it had been necessary to cancel my appointment and they will reschedule it in due course, whatever that means...this year, next year, sometime, never!

I should have time to work on the puzzle tomorrow, it will give me something to do while I wait.

It's been colder here too, only about 38 with a wind chill that makes it feel closer to freezing. Like you we've got a couple more days of this before it gets any warmer.

I had a lovely lunch but my cousin Christine and her hubby Malcolm couldn't come as they took him in to hospital last night. They were so busy at the hospital he had to stay in an ambulance for hours before they could admit him. Apparently he has some kind of viral infection, there's a lot of it about. Fortunately Christine's daughter has gone to stay with her until he comes home, so as a non-driver she'll have someone to take her when she goes to visit.

I've just had a text from the drier people they'll be here tomorrow between 10:03 and 13:03, you couldn't write this stuff, what's wrong with 10:00 to 13:00 am. We get it here all the time with things like deliveries they always come between some very strange times.

❤   thank you for your visit!  ツ Another rainy day.  It's been very quiet.  Richard went to our cabin yesterday afternoon and then skiing at Manning Park.  He'll be home around 6 this evening.  I think he forgets that he is getting older.  Elliot crawled in to bed with me and watched a murder mystery last night - an episode of Death in Paradise.  He has decided it is 'our' show and always remembers that a new episode comes out on Tuesday.  I was falling asleep and he was chitter chatting away.  haha
