I cleared the refrigerator of anything that needed to go as the bin men are coming first thing then I descaled the kettle, we get a lot of limescale build up in our kettles and coffee makers. I'm very eco friendly and boil cut up limes in it which works better than most of the  manufactured stuff.

Since Alan wasn't coming as it's a bank holiday   I cut the grass as the small amount of rain we had a couple of days ago has made it grow like crazy. It's full of weeds so I'm thinking of getting some weed and feed to put on it now that Tank isn't here to eat it, I was always afraid that would make him ill.

I can't wait to see the little house even if the flag doesn't have 50 stars!!

Today started out sunny and warm so I changed the bed and got the washing on then went outside to feed the birds and it clouded over. I did hang it out and it got drier than it was but I finally finished it in the drier.

Maggie phoned late this morning to tell me her sister, Audrey, was in hospital. Audrey is a couple of years older than us and has been poorly for the last few years. She had a bad fall and got a bleed on the brain. She does have alcohol problems and I don't need to tell you about those. She now has seizures and they've become worse over time, I'm thinking Maggie feels she may not get over it this time.

Hi Janet, sorry about yesterday, I'm up and running and all is well. Yesterday I went out and got Sheila the little dresses for the twins. They had Peppa Pig on them, it's a cartoon programme, not one I've seen but according to Sheila the children love it.

Gosh I wonder if the police caught the guy if he was on a motorcycle that must be so difficult as they can go off road. We have a series called 'Police Interceptors' and they occasionally chase motorcycles and seem to find lots of uninsured or wanted people! It makes interesting viewing. I wouldn't want to have been you getting involved with that. When I went to the hall last week a police car came speeding down the road behind me siren wailing so I pulled over and he went on his way, I was just about to pull out and another one came past, OMG how I didn't side swipe him I don't know he just appeared I think he was hidden behind the first one.
