I phoned Alan and left a message to let him know the shed roof was done and I said I'd like him to come and sort the shrubs out. Once again I've not heard anything back so I doubt he'll be here in the morning. Fortunately I don't need much at the shop tomorrow so depending what time I'm ready I can wait to see if he comes and go out in the afternoon or get home before 11 when I'd normally see him. Who knows, he may be put out about me getting someone else in to do the roof but I couldn't wait another year for him to sort it. He also has a lot of work to do for Paul, some steps up his bank, a patio and the shelter for his electric wheel chair. If my roof is anything to go by he'll be waiting forever.

Hope you find a new toy for Randy, I've picked up a Rudolph for one of the dogs and an Elephant for another. I've taken a photo so let me know if messenger springs in to life and I'll send it.

Hi Janet, its been another cloudy day although they say it's 50 it feels more like 40 and after tomorrow we should be getting the easterly winds making it much colder. However it should stay dry through Christmas which makes me happy especially as I'm going to Sam's tomorrow evening. It's about a 40 minute drive and the roads will be so dark on the way home, I think I'm getting too old for night driving with the lights so dazzling. I'm thinking of telling them unless it's an emergency I really don't want to be out at night.

Today I went to the library for their Christmas raffle. I won a lot of hand cream, shower gels and body 'stuff' which was all in a hamper which I've not opened yet, a mini hand care tin gift set, a jigsaw, a note book and address book set and a tin of biscuits. Gwen won a tub of sweets so we both did OK!
